You can leave. There's no lock-in, no cancellation fee, and no phone call you have to sit through.
Consulting work runs under a written agreement signed at the start of each engagement. That agreement controls. This page describes the general practice so you know what to expect before you sign anything.
If at the end of your first month you decide this isn't what you need, tell me in writing and we're done. Nothing further is owed beyond that first month, and you don't have to explain why.
Either of us can end the engagement with 30 days' written notice. You pay for work performed through the end of that notice period.
Either of us may end the engagement immediately, in writing, if the other materially fails to meet their obligations and doesn't fix it within 15 days of being told.
Where a refund applies, it covers fees paid for work not yet performed. Work already delivered isn't refunded.
Invoices are issued monthly in advance and due within 7 days. If an invoice runs more than 30 days overdue, I may pause work until it's paid. There is no late fee.
I hand over all work product created for you, and return or delete your materials on request. What I built for you is yours.
Some clients have an ongoing subscription to a tool I build and maintain for them. Those are billed monthly in advance.
Cancel any time by emailing melissa@letsconspire.co. No notice period, no cancellation fee, no phone call.
Your access continues until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be billed again. Partial months aren't refunded.
Tell me. If a tool doesn't work the way I said it would and I can't fix it, I'll refund that month.
Email melissa@letsconspire.co. I'll respond within two business days.
Life happens. Give reasonable notice and we'll move it.
