Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

The short version: I collect very little, I don't sell any of it, and anything you tell me as a client is confidential.

Let's Conspire is operated by Melissa Cikara, dba Let's Conspire, in Portland, Oregon, United States.

What I collect

When you email me

Your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to tell me. I have this because you sent it to me.

When you become a client

The business, financial, operational, and strategic information the work requires. This is covered by the confidentiality terms in your client agreement.

When you pay

Payments are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

When you visit this website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no contact form. I don't track who visits or what they read.

One thing worth naming, because most privacy policies skip it: this site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them, and Google receives your IP address as part of that. Nothing else about you is sent, and I receive none of it.

What I do with it

I use your information to do the work, communicate with you, send invoices, and meet my legal and tax obligations. That's the whole list.

What I don't do with it

I don't sell your information. I don't rent it. I don't trade it. I don't share it with anyone beyond what's needed to do the work or what the law requires.

Tools

I use business software to carry out the work, which may include cloud storage, document and spreadsheet tools, meeting recording and transcription, and AI-assisted analysis and drafting.

My confidentiality obligations apply regardless of which tools are used. I choose tools with business-grade terms and I configure them with client confidentiality in mind.

What I can commit to is my own diligence and my own duty of confidence. I can't warrant an outside provider's practices, and I'd rather say that plainly than promise something I don't control.

Recording

Sessions may be recorded so I have accurate notes.

Everyone is told at the start of any session that's being recorded, and anyone can ask that a session not be recorded. Recording begins only after everyone has been informed, and continuing to participate after that notice counts as consent.

Recordings and transcripts are covered by the same confidentiality obligations as everything else, and those obligations continue after our work together ends.

Testimonials and marketing

I don't use anything that identifies you without your prior written consent. I may describe work anonymously and non-identifiably at any time.

If you do give consent, you can withdraw it at any time for future use.

How long I keep things

I keep client materials while our engagement is active, and afterward as needed for legal, tax, and business records. On request, I'll return or delete your materials when we finish, other than anything I'm legally required to keep.

Your choices

Email me at melissa@letsconspire.co to ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or unsubscribe from anything.

Children

This site and these services are not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are communicated to active clients directly.
